Friday 3rd December was….. Christmas DecadenceIt was also Stella’s 40th Birthday
and so we combined the two to make it an extra special evening for our Tranny
Grange girl and veteran of so many of our parties and activities. Of course,
there were the usual hiccups – the party room, a new conservatory, wasn’t even
built, extra room was desperately needed for so many people, the garden was a
quagmire and we had only a few days to decorate the house, inside and out.
Nevertheless, the Tranny Grange machine swung into action. A marquee was
hired and put up in the garden, the gazebo was erected on the new (barely
set) concrete floor of the conservatory, and the Cornish Maids travelled up
from Bude to help with last minute decorations. Before you knew it, hey
